Who are we?

A husband and wife team who share a common passion for working with individuals with special needs. We couldn’t think of a more enjoyable way to help others than to work together on Brian’s T.E.A.M.!
Brian Cron has over 25 years experience in gymnastics. From the age of 5 to 15, Brian was a multi-decorated, competitive gymnast, with 3 state titles in pommel horse, 1 state title and 7th place in the region for vault. From 1999-2003, Brian served as the head boys gymnastics coach for Elite Gymnastics in Hawthorne, New Jersey.
From 2000-2005 Brian worked for Bergen County Special Services as a para-educator, utilizing the teaching methods of Applied Behavior Analysis. Brian gained experience in working with children of all language abilities.
In May 2003, Brian combined his knowledge of gymnastics and special education and opened a gymnastics school dedicated to coaching individuals with special needs. Participants ranged in age from toddlers to adults, and included disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Cognitive Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, and Behaviorally Disabled. Brian served as the President, Head Instructor, and face of the business, and brought it years of positive recognition and awards. Brian has worked collaboratively with the Arc of Bergen County, the Wayne Police Athletic League, the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities, and the Make a Wish Foundation.
In August 2010, Brian decided to move on and pursue his vision of creating a program consisting of multi-disciplinary professionals, working collaboratively to provide intervention for children and adults with special needs. Brian is a certified member of the United States Gymnastics Federation/USGF Safety Certified. He is certified in infant/child/adult CPR, AED, and First Aid
Kerry Cron MS CCC-SLP
Kerry (Alexander) Cron is a New Jersey licensed and ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) certified speech-language pathologist. She has nine years experience working as a speech-language pathologist in the public schools. In May 2001, Kerry graduated from Loyola College in Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology, and received her Masters degree in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University in August 2003.
Prior to completing her degree, Kerry worked as a para-educator at a private school for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders and multiple disabilities, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Kerry has completed nine years working in the public school system as a speech-language pathologist, and is currently providing speech therapy services for Early Intervention.
Kerry is a member of the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association. She has ten years experience working with learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders, in addition to her experience with evaluating and providing intervention for the following speech disorders: articulation and phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, oral motor therapy; receptive and expressive language disorders; auditory processing; fluency; selective mutism; sensory/feeding disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Kerry has received training in various types of speech and language intervention, such as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), The Kaufman Praxis Approach, and Introduction to the PROMPT Therapy technique. Kerry has training with programming and implementing both low and high tech AAC devices, as well as using the Proloqo2go, Touch Chat, and TapSpeak Choice applications on all Apple devices. Kerry is certified in infant/child/adult CPR, AED, and First Aid
Luciano Giannella
Brian’s T.E.A.M. is very excited to have Luciano Giannella join our team and share his passion and enthusiasm for coaching.
From May 2003 to June 2011, Luciano worked as an instructor for a gymnastics school dedicated to coaching individuals with special needs. Through his years of working with special needs, Luciano has developed a background and level of proficiency in coaching individuals ages toddler through adult with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Cognitive Impairment, and Hearing Impairment. He has worked collaboratively with the Arc of Bergen and Passaic County and Ridgefield Park Schools to provide adaptive physical fitness. Luciano is a certified member of the United States Gymnastics Federation/USGF Safety Certified. He is certified in infant/child/adult CPR, AED, and First Aid. He is bilingual and demonstrates knowledge of functional sign language.
Wendy Lee Bauer, MAT
Wendy Lee Bauer is a New Jersey certified teacher and Master of Early Childhood Education as well as Special Education. She has been working with special needs children since 2001 while attending undergraduate school at the University of Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated with her BS in Human Services with a focus in psychology and special education in 2003. She worked as a para-professional in a self contained autistic program while obtaining her Masters degree in the Art of Teaching from Montclair State University in 2007.
Wendy became a head classroom teacher shortly after obtaining her degree while working with students in home programs after school hours. She is trained and experienced in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), CBI (Community Based Intervention), as well as TEACCH (Training and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children). After bringing a private home client to Brian's T.E.A.M. for lessons and demonstrating her knowledge and experience with the special needs population, she was asked to join the team as a behavioral instructor.
Wendy has received training in discreet trial teaching through her work in the school settings as well as CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and has experience in writing and following through with behavior modification programs that coordinate with the specific individual's IEP (Individualized Education Plan). Wendy also co-direct's a summer program for adults with developmental delays and continues to expand her home therapy clientele. Wendy is is certified in infant/child/adult CPR, AED, and First Aid.
